Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust and Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust are proposing to merge.
Proposed merger of acute services between University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and North Bristol NHS Trust
University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and North Bristol NHS Trust are proposing to transfer certain acute services, namely head and neck, ear, nose and throat, and oral and maxillo-facial services; symptomatic breast care services; and urology surgical services.
Advice to the Trust special administrator for South London Healthcare NHS Trust
The Cooperation and Competition Panel (CCP) has been asked to advise the Trust Special Administrator on the consistency of the recommendations contained in his draft report of 29 October 2012, “Securing sustainable NHS services”, with Principle 10 of the Principles and Rules of Cooperation and Competition (Principles and Rules).
Cornwall & Scilly PCT Conduct Complaint
St. Piran's Healthcare Limited (St. Piran's) has asked the CCP to assess whether Cornwall and Isles of Scilly NHS Primary Care Trust (Cornwall and Scilly PCT) has acted inconsistently with the Principles and Rules for Cooperation and Competition.
Referral and Choice
The CCP is developing informal advice on arrangements that seek to manage referral processes. The CCP is seeking examples of how local referral management processes work and any costs or benefits of these arrangements for patients and taxpayers by 18 July 2012.
